Yesterday was a good day for small businesses
concerned about climate-change induced sea levels rising along the South
Carolina coast. The South Carolina Small
Business Chamber, American Sustainable Business Council and the Winyah River
Foundation held a press event in North Myrtle Beach to layout the case that sea
levels are rising, there will be a significant negative impact on small
businesses and it is important for local coastal governments to begin planning
for adaptation to higher sea levels.
Three TV stations, the Myrtle Beach Sun News and a
non-dailey covered the press event.
Below are links to two of those stories.
